Wow. It's been since the 18th of July that I last did a post. Well, things have been a little hectic.

I've managed to fit in some time off, and that's been way cool. The kids have gone away to their mums for a week and a half and come back. Weekend before last Mia and I even fitted in a little holiday, but more about that tomorrow.

In the meantime you can get a preview of the holiday by going to my Flickr pages... www.flickr.com/photos/snouty I'll tell you all about this trip tomorrow.

Mostly what I have to report is this, or should I say these:
  1. I've had some very interesting job prospects emerge over the last few weeks. Some in Bristol, some from home. This makes me think more and more about going freelance again this September when term starts again. I would like this because I reallyneed to work from home again I really miss it, and this would allow me more time to make my film. I can still freelance for the school, and that would be fine. I would get to do the jobs I like and none of the ones I don't.
  2. The film is going ahead as planned. I sent out an update to the cast and crew yesterday to let them know things are still going forwards. I finished some updates to the script and figured out where we are going with this project. I may post the update to this blog...or maybe I should start a movie blog? Hmm. (Actually I did this... 3. I'm planning to make my own podcast. Or two actually. I'm so into podcasts right now and if you aren't you really should be. If you have an MP3 player or iPod they are the best thing since radio. Think democratic radio in the hands of anyone with a computer distributed on demand to anyone who wants it. Some good some bad but almost all interesting.
  4. I bought an iPod Nano. (see 3.) I cannot recommend these things highly enough. You can get a 1Gb mp3 player for about £50 but if you are in the market for one I would spring the £90 for a Nano because a) they are really cool, b) they are robust, stylish and do the job perfectly, and c) don't even bother thinking about the new Zune player from Microsoft because it's too little too late. iTunes and iPod are the way to go.
So, if I forgot anything I'll let you know tomorrow, but for now check out the new trailer for the movie on The Sacrament web site. Click Here

If that doesn't work (and I've had some weird technical problems) there are links to the video on MySpace, YouTube and GoogleVideo.
